Celebrating multilingualism

At Liceo Panamericano Samborondón, we believe languages are not only learned, but lived. Our approach goes beyond the traditional classroom to support natural, fluent language acquisition, enabling students to integrate new languages confidently into their everyday lives.

We foster a global learning environment where linguistic diversity opens the door to new perspectives. By engaging with different cultures through curiosity and active use, our students not only become confident in other languages but also develop the mental agility and empathy needed to lead in an ever-changing world.

Early Years

At Liceo Panamericano Samborondón, multilingual learning is an integral part of everyday school life. From the age of 3, students learn English through an academic pathway aligned with Cambridge, preparing them to achieve internationally recognised certification.

Primary School

Beyond English, Liceo Panamericano Samborondón also offers French as part of its academic programme. From 5th grade to 3rd year of Baccalaureate, students develop their language skills while broadening their cultural awareness and academic opportunities, further strengthening their international education.

Middle School

In our Middle School, students strengthen their English through a Cambridge-aligned pathway while continuing to develop their French, broadening their language skills and global perspective.

International Baccalaureate

At this stage, students strengthen their English proficiency and continue to develop their French, preparing for international certifications and future academic opportunities worldwide.

Empowering every learner

Through a rich mix of language experiences, we help students build the skills and resilience they need to thrive.

Personalised language assessments

We believe in personalised language learning, which is why each new student completes an initial language assessment and a questionnaire to help us understand their language profile.

Our goal is for every learner to achieve at least B2 level in English, preparing them to meet the expectations of higher education.

Partnership with parents

We support families in strengthening their child’s language development through Cambridge-certified English Parenting Classes, offered as an additional programme. This initiative enables parents to reinforce the language learning process and support their child’s development more closely.

Immersion in Oxford

Immersion in Oxford

The English Language Immersion Programme gives high school students the opportunity to spend a month in England, developing their language skills in an authentic everyday setting. They attend classes from Monday to Friday and take part in cultural activities and excursions. Staying with host families helps them build social and cultural awareness, while daily routines, public transport and personal responsibilities foster greater independence. Each student is paired with a local "buddy" who supports their integration. Throughout the programme, they are also accompanied by teachers or psychologists from DECE, who help safeguard their well-being. At the end of the experience, the host institution holds a closing ceremony and awards certificates.
